Memories still remain of the different immigrant communities who have made Spitalfields their home. Your walking tour will bring to life their stories from the chapels and wonderful Georgian houses of the French Huguenots to the schools, synagogues and soup kitchens of the Jewish Community.
Bringing you up to date with the Bengali community your tour ends with a feast for the senses at Bengal Cuisine, one of Brick Lane's longest established curry houses. The chef will explain the different spices and cooking styles that make the different curries and then you will have a chance to taste them all !!
This is definitely a tour for those who want to know their balti from their biryani.
